Year of Divine Dominion

Praise God for allowing us to see a new year. This past year has been one of trials and tests; a purifying by fire of those who are true worshipers.

Prepare yourselves to take dominion this year. We are in the sixth year of the new dispensation of the Lord. On the sixth day of creation God created Adam, and gave him dominion. When Adam allowed sin into the garden, he lost the dominion that was God given.

When Jesus came He took dominion back for us through His death and resurrection. When Jesus went into Hell and took the keys to death, hell, and the grave, He took back what Adam lost when he ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Adam was not made to die. He was created to live eternally on earth. God was looking for relationship with man.

To walk in dominion the bible says that we have to subdue the earth. We were created from the earth, so we need to bring this body into subjection. 1 Corinthians 9:27(NKJ) "But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified."

We see Paul understood that bringing ourselves under subjection brought about the process that allowed the Holy Spirit to move in his life and then out to others.

Walking in dominion does not mean that life is perfect, but it does mean that we are in tune to the moving of the Holy Spirit. It does not mean that we can use our influence and power any way we want to and expect God to bless it.

Walking in dominion does mean that as we go forth we can speak those things that the Word of God says and KNOW that it Will happen!

Adam did not fear any animal that God had created. Why? He did not fear the animals because he had dominion. Isaiah 11:6 speaks of the wolf dwelling down with the lamb.

This was a prophecy of the coming time. Just as it was with Adam, Jesus brought the dominion back.

What are we willing to give up in our lives to dwell in that dominion? Are we willing to DAILY crucify this flesh to allow the Glory of God to inhabit the earth? When we pray the Lord's Prayer or model prayer "Thy Kingdom come Thy will be done" that is why dominion was given to begin with was to bring His Kingdom to this earth.

God is looking for those on this earth who will walk in His Dominion. Are we willing to make those sacrifices that will allow Him to move and flow in our lives?

I am finding that as I seek first the Kingdom of Heaven, that all those things that I once really wanted are being added to me.

This year we are to be more Heavenly Minded than Earthly minded. What do I mean? Focus on worshiping God this year. Daily, hourly, minute by minute praise His Holy name, and watch what happens. For, as we worship and praise Him we bring His Kingdom to this earth. We are walking in the dominion that He first gave to Adam.

Are we ready to walk in dominion?
