Ephesians 6:10: "Finally, my brethern, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might."
Near the close of Paul's letter to the Ephesians, he tells us all to be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Why? Because of what he writes next:
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." - Ephesians 6:12
These same principalities and powers are what we are up against today. Earthly turmoil is only a result of the battles in the spiritual realm. The devil is still a spirit creature and his army consist of fallen angels, known as demons: all dwelling in the same spirit realm.

We hear of earthly governments coming against the followers of Christ, trying thier faith by imprisoning some while killing others. It is now time for God to test the faith of His people in the nations where worshipping Almighty God is a freedom.
How is thier faith going to be tested? Lately we have read of the 'shakeup' in several large churches. The leadership in some churches have been brought to thier knees because of less than godly conditions.
It is not the duty of any of us to condemn any of these situations. It should be our concern that we keep praying for these churches and thier leadership, while keeping ourselves holy. 1 Peter 1:16 instructs us this way: "Ye be holy, as I am holy." How do we keep ourselves holy? By never forgetting to have on "the whole armor of God" - Ephesians 6:11.
